One more question. Does anyone know what the water levels are like on the Wind and Peel? We fly out this coming Sunday. I asked Blacksheep, but they guessed 'average'. Thanks.

You could ask the local outfitters like Kanoe People (http://www.kanoepeople.com/) and UpNorth (http://upnorthadventures.com/) or the local paddlers (http://www.kayak.yk.ca/).
