A couple of major programming enhancements to the site:

Add a Route
Users have been requesting a way to directly add their
own canoe routes to our growing database of trips. You
can now submit trips to the database using the form here
(also accessible from the Routes' page). After
you submit a route using this form, we will give it a quick
check for format and it will be added to the site.

Become a 'Route
Contact'
We previously had a section of the site for Route
Contacts ... people willing to provide advice on routes they
had paddled. We've once again implemented this.
On each route page (in the right hand column) you'll notice
a little fill-in-the-blanks form which will enable you to
post your name and email address on that particular
page. It's a great way of helping each other out as
we're considering new trips.

We now have an online database of recipes. You can browse
it and add your own recipes in the Technique section of the
site.

Lucky for us that Robin Lauer is sitting at home
nursing a sprained ankle. He's fighting boredom by typing
up logs for all of his La Verendrye trips. Three
yesterday, and here's another one. His misfortune is our

A new 'Recipe' section has been added to the
site. You can add your own recipes, and they'll instantly
be added to our database and available on the site. To
make things interesting, we're going to put everyone who submits
a recipe into a draw. We'll pull the name at the end of
March, and the lucky winner can spend $100 in the shopping
section of the site, on us!
