Maps, route descriptions and web sites like this one are a valuable resource when you need to research a canoe route.  However, there's no comparing the written word with real, first-hand knowledge.  If you want to know about a particular trip, it's always useful to speak with someone who has paddled that route before.

That's what this section is all about - putting you in touch with the most valuable resource of all - people!  The registered members of this site each have a "member profile."  The link at the left will enable you to search these member profiles.

Also in this section is information on some well-know paddling personalities.  Each of these people has in some way left their mark on the wilderness canoeing community, and we recognize them for their contribution in this section.
