Unfortunately, we live in a country where the seasons do not
allow us to paddle twelve months a year (unless we're willing to
break ice as we go).
That being the case, our
winters are often spent living the canoe trip experience
vicariously. Sitting in front of the woodstove reading the
newest route guide isn't such a bad way to spend a frosty winter
day.
The links on the left
side of this page will take you to pages listing some of the
best books available on the topics of canoeing, nature and the
outdoors. If you have a favourite that isn't listed on
those pages, email us with a brief description and let us know
about it.
