Odds 'n Ends Kit

Fill a small yogurt container or baby food jar with a bunch of 'odds and ends' such as finishing nails, roofing nails, screws, washers, bolts, copper wire, etc (anything you have laying around the basement workbench that looks like it could be useful).

Guaranteed you'll carry it for years without even opening it, but when you finally need one of the items to put a canoe seat back together or re-fasten a broken thwart, you'll be glad you have it.
