It is easier to drive past Ritchie Falls (halfton usable road) and put in at Jack Smith Bay on Sauble Lake, there is a big capsight there. We used to always do this trip in 3 days, never 4 like they say. The map is MOZHABONG LAKE 41 J/16 Canada Map Office ( also available in Massey at the Museum or Burk's Shell.)

You can stop in at Moosewa Outpost on Poupore Lake near the begining or end of your trip. They have email to let you contact family, and also a cabin for a hot shower or meal to start or end your trip comfortably. They also can help with maps and water levels, and tell you if anyone else is on the loop, provided they have checked in. They also have maps, and do some outfitting by arrangment. There website is www.MOOSEWA.ca
