| Start at east end of Hwy 211 (approximately 100 km east of Winnipeg)
Start at rock dam on north side South on river Stay right around island - Class I chute Through swampy area Lift over ledge Class I rapid (CBR) Old Pinawa Dam Prov. Park at Hwy 520 P around dam (series of liftovers) South on river for 8 km Finish at Hwy 313 - under bridge, then takeout on right at wayside park | ||

Route as described is actually 20km in length. Portage around the dam is 500m in length There is a large submerged rock in the middle of the channel ~500m before the dam that is easy to run aground on.
