Please consult also the paragraph Extended Routes ... posted at
http://www.myccr.com/phpbbforum/viewtop ... 11&t=37395

Exclusions.
1. The Cochrane River flows from Wollaston Lake (which lies entirely in Saskatchewan) to Reindeer Lake (which lies mostly in Saskatchewan); its length is split roughly equally between Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Because the bulk of Cochrane travel is in MB (in fact,no known Cochrane Route lies in SK only), Cochrane Route and Information entries are listed in MB only, at
http://www.myccr.com/phpbbforum/viewtopic.php?f=113&t=34109
2. In order to reduce the number of entries (already rather large without them) in the Lower Churchill region, Routes on the Churchill River system with a component on the Sturgeon-weir River system (for example the popular route passing between the Churchill and the Sturgeon-weir systems via the Frog Portage) are posted in the SK South region at
http://www.myccr.com/phpbbforum/viewtopic.php?f=111&t=37396

Ed notes.
1. As used here, Otter Lake includes Devil Lake and Missinipe.
2. Routes extending both well above and well below Otter Lake are posted in both the Upper Churchill and the Lower Churchill regions.
3. For the purpose of providing the paddler easy access to Route information, I have constructed seven subregions. Please note that the subregions are not well defined, and also that some Routes cross from one subregion to another (I usually place such Routes in the subregion where the Route starts). In short, paddlers should examine nearby subregions.

This post provides Route information for the following subregions:
1. The Churchill River proper.
2. The Lac la Ronge area.
3. The MacKay Lake area, east of Hwy 102; Routes to the west of Hwy 102 are posted in the Upper Churchill region.
4. The McLennan Lake area.
The second post, at
http://www.myccr.com/phpbbforum/viewtopic.php?f=111&t=42031
provides Route information for the following subregions:
5. The Montreal River system above Lac la Ronge, including the Kingsmere Lake area.
6. Reindeer Lake and Reindeer River.
7. Routes starting from Tyrrell Lake.

Subregion 1. Churchill River
