www.langfordcanoe.net ... check out this picture! The Tripping Canoes are second to none and the Cedar Canoes are amazing both to look at and paddle. www.langfordcanoe.net ... you\'ll see what I mean.

A joy to paddle and portage with. Very stable. Not very durable AT ALL! The bottom seems to carve up really easily. There are also spider web like cracks on both the bow and the stern. I have no idea what from. The canoe has only seen light to moderate use on flat water and has been taken care of. I would be way to scared to run any white water with it (in fear of breaking it) but have no problem running rapids with my custom made cedar strip or my aluminum.

This is a top of the line canoe. I have the Kevlar with the wood trim which is beautiful. I really love the yoke because it's very well shaped and sits on my shoulders very comfortably. Very stable, light, and tough too. Definitely the best canoe I have ever paddled. I agree with the previous reviewer Tom; it is difficult to paddle solo in strong winds, because it's a big boat. I have taken this boat on many portage trips and have been very satisfied with its performance.

Got the two colour kevlar boat with wood trim. A beauty, tracks perfectly, lots of space, just like they advertise, I also like to paddle solo, even while windy.

I purchased the kevlar with wood trim as a "mid life crisis" relief. Outstanding stability and a dream to paddle solo or tandom. The only drawback is solo paddling in a strong wind. Unloaded, it sits high in the water and catches a lot of wind. But that's what you get with a big boat.

Fantastic canoe! The only thing "wrong" with it is its initial stability would scare off potential owners! Competent paddlers can handle this easily, novices usually coached to relax! and move with the canoe. Everyone benefits from this canoes amazing secondary stability and the speed and tracking that this hull is designed around. Sitting in a quite pond is where this canoe is most noticeably 'tippy' but it's when the wind and chop pick up is where this boat feels at home inspiring confidence in the most nervous of paddlers. exactly where it matters in my opinion!!!! i would buy again and again!!!
