I am looking for paddling info on the following rivers. August is when we are planning to paddle...

1) Stelako River: Francois Lk to Fraser Lk

2) Nechako River: Fraser Lk to Prince George

3) Fraser River: Prince George to Williams Lk

Thanks

The Stellako is grade 2 - 2+ with one 5 waterfall.
The first half has the drops, the waterfall is halfway, and the bottom half is a lot more meandering with slower moving water.
The falls are just past the power lines. The portage is just above the falls on river left. A second portage is on river left again. It starts just before the rock bluffs.

August is starting to get boney.

Can't help with the other two.
Nechako from Cheslatta Falls to Fort Fraser is a great float with several large rapids/boils. Great place for wildlife viewing.

Check out "Canoeing + Kayaking BC's Central Interior" by the Northwest Brigade Paddling Club. It has everything you're looking for.

Keep the trip reports coming!

I think both #2 and #3 are in the paddling guide that was published out of PG, they have it in the Smithers library. I'm pretty sure #2 has some WW too. The Nechako upstream of HWY 16 is mellower.
