I am looking for suggestions for a river trip this summer. I would like to do a 4 to 5 day trip on an Ontario or Quebec river that has some whitewater but not too much past class 3. I would like it to be through wilderness. Any thoughts on some lesser known rivers?

One of my favourites, if you are comfortable with ww, is the Dumoine River, in west quebec. Simply beautiful and ideal as a 4 to 5 day trip.

Petawawa - haven't paddled but research indicates it's an option.
Dumoine
Noire
Colounge
Spanish

Just read lesser known:
Groundhog
Grassy
Ivanhoe

Upper Kipawa - never did it myself but it looks like a relatively easy stretch of river.

That map has a link to the original PDF it was based on.
