Planning a trip to Sleeping Giant - information online regarding quality of each site and lake access is limited.

Ordered a map but was hoping to tap into any expertise - I would appreciate comments from those with any experience or recommendations on campsites at Sleeping Giant.

Thank you.

Contact the Thunder Bay Hiking Association through their website. I’m sure one of the members will be able to provide good info.

It's a busy place in the summer. Stayed once, and only had a choice of one site. A bunch of teenaged girls were running around shrieking all night. Have to give the staff its due though. I was up at 7 making coffee and a park warden came by and asked me if the girls had been noisy. Apparently they had been warned once already. I told him my story, then he walked over to their site and told them to pack their stuff up and get out. They were very unhappy campers.

This happened outside of the main campground? Frustrating.

I had a similar thing happen to me in Frontenac, day 1, amazing site, lake to myself, great weather, day 2, four teenagers shrieking up a storm.
