 Post subject: Bras d'Or Lakes

Paddled about 90 minutes from Baddeck (that's bahDECK I'm told).
Went left from the dock, up Bell Bay some, turned right, went around the island and returned. Used Paddledog Kayak for outfitter, highly recommended. Thanks to Julien!
More later, when I can post photos (can't do that from this tablet, yet anyway).

I spent countless amount of days in Baddeck canoeing and sailing. I am originally from the Baddeck Area. I still spend a fair amount of time on the Bras d'Or Lakes and the Baddeck River. Beautiful spot which I never got sick of yet.

Here is a youtube video of the tiny Cub Cadet that my sister and nephew bought. They have larger boats but they just wanted a small boat for those quick and easy days. It is a bit tippy.
