Another lake i have done with very little paddler friendly information on it. One of the longest lakes in Nova Scotia you can still get a wilderness experiance out of Panuke Lake despite the boater traffic and cottages.

Thought id offer an update. From the put in on panuke lake about 1.5-2 hours in you will hit the power lines, right continues down the lake, left is a 40 minute detour to the "gazebo rock" a free use island gazebo that would be amazing for a weary paddler to stretch legs, have a swim, cook some grub or sit in one of their chairs for a rest. Worth checking out if your paddling panuke lake.
