LRC - We will also be in Yukon once again this summer, July and August. Paddling the Yukon River from the Thirty Mile section to Dawson City. Put-in will be around July 26th . We'll have 1 yellow Evergreen Starburst, 1 bluish Bluehole and 1 rental boat. We're all old - there'll be a lot of grey hair in camp. Look for us, stop by if you see us.

Going to be busy up there. We're heading up to YT this summer as well .
Plan is June/July. Paddling the Yukon or some river in June and doing some hiking (Tombstones for sure)and taking in the Dawson Music festival in July.
Kim, August will be salmon time on the Yukon so you may be sharing with the bears. :D

Love the salmon run.. I have watched it in Alaska and the Yukon before. If they have salmon they won't be interested in Mountain House.

(yes we won't pitch the tent in the middle of bear tracks, though we did last time cause they were everywhere)

Everyone is going to the YT this summer! I advertised around the NW a month ago for paddlers interested in a Snake or Blackstone or Flat trip, and now there are 14 people that are interested. That means 2 or 3 groups for sure. Let's hope it's a good warm summer up north and not like last year.
