Bev and I are doing the Koyukuk River next summer (Wiseman to the Yukon River)
We need to find someone in Fairbanks who would be willing to let us mail our gear to them and store it for a month or so. It would be around 6 large duffle bags.

We will be flying in from Boston most likely the middle of June and would most likey have the Dalton Highway Express drive us up the Haul Road.

Any one have any suggestions or contacts?

Joel -

I live in Fairbanks and would be happy to store your outfit as well as help expedite your business in town.

And if you will tell me how to contact you I will copy your post to the Fairbanks Paddlers list.

We are now in Fairbanks getting ready to put in on the Koyukuk River this Saturday, June 12th. We have allotted about 38 days to do the entire river, which will include both the North(put in a Gates of the arctic) and the middle branch (Putting in above Wiseman on the haul road) and the main branch, finishing at the Yukon River at the town of Koyukuk.

I would like to thank Patti Pincha and Barry Whitehill for letting us mail our gear to them and storing it in their garage, and for letting us stay at their home before we put in. Wonder full people!!!
