Once again, the entries made choosing 3 favourites a difficult task.

The usernames have been added to the "Photo Credit" field in the Gallery. Please check and make sure that I've got the correct names attached to the photos.

The voting results can be reviewed in this thread:

Perhaps the entrants could post a bit of info about their photos, I'm sure the members would like to read the stories behind each one.

And don't forget....if you would like to have additional info added to any of your entries in the contests, you can send that to me and I can add it to the appropriate photo. Items such as "Date", "Description" and "Place Taken" are easy to add.

Please don't send me pm's, though....see this thread:

Another great set of photos. Thanks for organizing these contests.
My photo shows a flotilla of six canoes approaching the portage at the north west end of OSA Lake in Killarney Park.
Sue and I have canoed in Killarney in October a number of times but always in the near deserted north-west part. This fall we decided to see what the southern part looked like as the leaves were changing. It was gorgeous but as you can see it was far from deserted. We were about to hike up the hill at the NW part of OSA when we saw this group of young people approaching. Just had to take a few pictures. They were high school students who were spending a week in the park. Thought that the picture fit the topic of "self propelled recreation in the outdoors" quite nicely.
BTW if you were part of this group that went through OSA on October 14, 2010, I can send you some more pictures.
Jim

My photo shows early sunrise Mid November as I was heading out for a Grouse Hunt. This is a small creek system north of Red Lake. You can see a bit of ice already forming on the pooled water.

Thanks for the votes!
