I just upgraded my computer. My old one is dated 2009. Ibycus 4.0 worked just fine since it was originally installed under XP.

1) Now with my new laptop running on Windows 10, I can't seem to get BaseCamp to read Ibycus. Under the MAPS menu, Ibycus doesn't even show up. I had to install WIN.rar to extract IbycusTopo40.iso.

2) And another funny thing. I usually save all my waypoints in individual files per trip in my SD card.

When I insert my SD card into the new laptop one of my trip files seems to be missing a few waypoints while simultaneously the old laptop without the SD card in it is still reading the trip files. Where in the harddrive is BaseCamp actually reading?

Anybody able figure these two mysteries out?

No....and that's why I still use and prefer Mapsource over Basecamp

Problem solved. While searching for something else, I found the Ibycus 4.0 CD that forgot I had made.
