Finally an answer to the question you've never asked: if someone spent 95 days in the backcountry in one camping season, recorded every day, and boiled it down to three minutes of highlights... what would it look like?

This season included Temagami, Algoma, central Ontario, and north of Superior.

Nice video. I recognized some of the Steel River scenes. Where did you find that pile of bears in the early part of the video? And the otters are cute!

Thanks guys!

Brad, those bears were in Killarney. Saw another adult a couple minutes later on its own. People say Chapleau has the densest population of bears, but I have to think Killarney is up there. I see them almost every time.

Definitely brings back a lot of memories and emotions wotrock.

Nice video! Good message too. 26% of a year out in the back country is quite a feat.

Jonathon, a word of thanks for your TR on Lac aux Sables to Bark Lake. I discovered it (and your videos on other trips: Excellent!) just a few days before heading out to do that trip. Your information was very useful and contributed to the success of my trip. Thanks! To any one reading this: have a look at Jonathon's "Backcountry Anglers of Ontario" videos on Youtube. Funny, insightful, and, humble commentary with beautiful and well edited footage.
