Since the late 90's I have guided trips all over Ontario and Manitoba. We always used two wanigans on each trip. Even when paddling with just one companion I take a wanigan. A few years ago I started a nonprofit named EarthEd Foundation to further my love of taking people out on wilderness canoe adventures.
I recently decided to build some wanigans for others to enjoy, since they seem to have a troubling reputation for being difficult to carry. Believe me, these are made for portaging and shooting rapids. I thought I'd share here and see what people think of them.
I feel compelled to throw in a quick apology for the mess America finds itself in at the moment. Hoping to get that sorted out fairly soon.
