Does anyone know what happened to the Jeff's Maps site?

The website does not show the Algonquin, Temagami, or Killarney maps anymore.

Jeff had a bust up with his partner (there is a thread here about it).

Wait for an announcement about his new "home" coming very soon.

Are you just speculating recped?

Because Jeff and someone named Deki are just releasing their first Unlostify maps and they are advertising on facebook.

the Jeffs Map website is still working I just checked. Recped isnt speculating, thats the official story. Prospector16 is right Jeff has now partnered with Deki and unlostify is the result.

These maps also look great but I wouldnt say better than the original, not worse either just different in design.

There were complains about recent non-delivered orders placed with "Jeffs Map" site. Check Algonquin forum if interested.

Jeff is back but with new products, new thoughts and some pleasant innovations.

Whoops, I clearly don't visit CCR enough lol!

Yea... I left JM in November 2016.

It was really hard to do that after putting so much time, effort and energy into it, but I felt it was untenable to continue with my then-business partner. He wouldn't leave, so I did.

@swimmer_sppe - I would bet money on them never being updated again.

@Prospector16 - Yuppers! Deki's on CCR too. Just hasn't posted too much yet :)

@gnatwest - I'd say better, but I'm biased :p

@Eddy Turn - SIgh.. yea, what a train wreck

@Open_water - Woohoo! Also working on an Algonquin map for this summer(ish)

Are you with Unlostify?

If you are working on the Algonqun map, please, can you add the Mattawa River to it? It is such a great gem, especially for beginners.

So recped was just speculating - and was wrong.

Good to hear from you Jeff!!!

I've been using the old online JM's for reference, but couldn't bring myself to purchase any out of a sense of betrayal of all the work you put into them and were shouldered out of.

Will happily buy your new products. Thanks for all your efforts!

Huh? No RecPed was not wrong or speculating. Jeff had a bust up with his partner. His new home is Unlostify.

OK my initial reading of recped's posts was that s/he was speculating that Jeff would be getting back together with his old partner. But reviewing them again now I don't get that at all so not sure what I was thinking.

The whole unlostify thing was announced here months ago by Jeff himself - there was nothing to wait for (except the maps themselves I guess). But it has been known for a long time what he's been up to.
