I understand - the rectangular shapes are not what we expect. But they are not uncommon in authentic/old pictographs. Thumb through Grace Raijnovich's "Reading Rock Art" for examples (and to find what these things are all about).

Or better yet, read the book Kitchi-Gami and check the sketches of pictographs and song scrolls. Those were recorded in the 1850's, from people that still were part of that culture.

Thanks for the prompt reply Ted. Just knowing the lengths has satisfied my curiosity. It looks like a nova craft canoe, but It looks short in the picture so I thought it might have been their shorter Solo model which is one of the boats I'm contimplating on purchasing in the near future

You're right on the money.
A buddy just replied that they are Nova Craft Prospectors.

Two big guys and gear was too much for the 16 footers.
