This is in Canada, and I have tried the last couple of years for something reasonable.
This is great news if you are looking to get something for that paddler in your life that has
A - all the tripping stuff they need already,
B - an "older" tripper who can't get out to their favourite spot anymore
C - yourself because they make a great wall hanging or throw over a couch.

They are available at Costco for $60.00 :o

I have not used Costco for this before, but I have given photo blankets and had one....
but my son scooped the Arctic fox one for his place. :)
And tis the season!

Well for those wondering how they worked out 8)
I got 2, one for my brother, one for my wife.
For my brother (he could not attend the unveiling) I did a collage shots I took at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton.
The painted the VRA Lancaster on the one side with the colours of the Ruhr Express (first Lanc from Malton) that my Dad had flown in on 10 missions, including the last one for the Ruhr where it crashed and burned on landing.
They let us get a picture of my Dad's torso in the Mid upper Gunner bubble.
Along with his crew shot and a closeup of the nose and a shot I got of the plane doing a flypast it came out pretty amazing.

For my Wife I did a Puffin collage, lets just say she has a bit of a Puffin fetish :o
She is very happy with it, (it is all Puffins all the time   )
but from a photographers view point, I found some of the group flying Puffin shots a little "busy" but the shot still came out very clear.

I am going to try a landscape shot next, now that I know what I think works it will be interesting to see how it works out. I will be aiming for one with a lot of depth but not too busy.
