Ok , this is how it works, you open the packet, squeeze out the contents , then put the empty packet in your garbage bag to be packed out with you. This would be the same garbage bag containing the granola bar or power bar wrapper you already threw away. If you can't look after a few empty packets properly, there may be a problem. A quick 2 minute search of your camp area should catch the packet that got away.

sure just like the juice box straw holders I find everywhere I go. I agree there is no need for them not when there is a load of other options out there.

I found some small canned tuna that already had the mayonaise mixed in. It worked great for lunch or snack stops on my trip. Some even come with other flavorings for variety. Pull type lids made it handy.

Hey look at this old thread!

Anyone know where to get them in Ottawa?

I know that Tannis cash and carry down on Catherine sells big boxes of them but that is too much.

I already checked :
- Bulk Barn Merivale
- Superstore Westboro
- Farm Boy Westboro

Farm Boy did not sell them but told me to take a few :-)

Any ideas?

The newer style Wendy's seem to have lots of them.

I'll usually stop in the one in Beamsville around the time I'm trip shopping, grab a burger and help myself to whatever Ketchup, Mustard, Relish and Mayonnaise packets I need.

An alternative is the small cans of flavoured tuna. They have pull tabs so you don't need a can opener. Superstore and others stock several flavours. Two cans with crackers make a nice lunch. The downside is the empty cans have to be carried out.

We had a few of the Helmen's packets set out for our trip this weekend, but while we were out, our dog ate 3 of the 4 of them.

We got them from our Hello Fresh food box.

I'd like to replace the ones we just lost, so I may try to check out some of the suggestions in this thread.

Update:

I found these at my nearest 7-eleven in St. Catharines.
