I'm in search of a canoe in the 17 to 18 foot range for tripping with a family of four (two kids ages 4 and 6). Having two boats with the kids bow paddling isn't an option yet, but neither is squeezing everyone in a smaller boat. Would prefer not to buy new if we'll end up with two canoes in a couple years. If you're within a few hours of Thunder Bay and have something that would work, feel free to reach out.

Thanks.

What kind of tripping are you looking to do? I have a used rental Souris River Quetico 18.5 with the third seat I could sell you if you were will to travel south of the border. I'd sell it for $1650 usd.

Thanks Quinn. Yeah, the Quetico 18.5 is the sort of thing I'm looking for. There is actually one here locally that I might end up with, but if not I might be in touch. How far south of the border?

I'm on the Gunflint Trail, let me know if you want to take a look.
