Hi guys, I'm new to winter camping and new to this site. Midway through canoeing season this year I tried finding some canoeing partners in my area of Northern Ontario (Sudbury). I didn't end up finding somebody until early in the fall (should have checked out this site earlier). So this season I'm going to avoid that same thing happening again by starting early.
I'm a 25 year old, Novice (not rookie though, I am from the North after all) Winter camper. I'm trying to meet some people in my area who share the same interests (snowshoeing, skiing, camping, canoeing, photography, etc.) and to hopefully get together this year for some outings. Deep Freeze '05 sounds really good to me but unfortunately I have a wedding to attend on Feb 27.
Details about me:
25 years old
male
Married to a beautiful bride (who could possibly attend)
Have 2 children (who could possibly attend)
Windstar ( yes, I've settled for the minivan )
Looking to do some 2-3 day trips into Killarney, Algonquin, etc.

Hutchster regarding deepfreeze 2005 the dates listed all go to the 27th but the Bud car travels back to Sudbury on Wed. Feb 23 and Friday the 25th. So you could come in with the first group or the Tuesday group or for a one nighter you could come with the thurs. group.
