We spent 3 days in Killarney Provincial Park and attempted to summit Silver Peak, the highest peak of the La Cloche Mountains. This bushwhack route would see us basecamp on Sandy Lake and attempt a snowshoe traverse from the south. Some deep snow with drifts up to 1m, 80kph wind gusts and blowing snow made for a slow trek, but we successfully bagged both the East and West peaks. Check out the trip video for more!

Really enjoyed the clip, especially the long view of the group crossing the lake at the beginning. Great work! We listened to David Lee's presentation at the KW winter camping Symposium. Was this trip a new ascent this winter or was it the trip described by David at the symposium? Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, that video is the trip we took 2 years ago with David that he spoke about. A group of us went again last year but I didn't film that one. Headed back to the park shortly!

Thanks!
