On Tuesday of this week some of the surrounding areas around North Bay had FROST. This will make some of you winter folks all antsy.
The long range forcast according to the CBC this morning, the temperatures are suppose to be above normal for the next few weeks. They didn't say it will probably be raining buckets and blowing like stink.

Has anyone heard why this summer has been unseasonably cooler? The same has been like this here in Wisconsin. Last week up north it was almost freezing. :o

What will winter bring?

I'll take frost any day over this lousy humidity. 90*F yesterday, 80*F today, so muggy it feels like you're walking through water.

Hard to believe it was so nice and "chilly" just two days ago.

Our forecast calls for 30kmh winds, gusting to 50kmh. Haven't seen any evidence of that yet.

Environment Canada confirmed that we had snow falling in Winnipeg last week.
I didn't see it but lots of people did.I'm very glad I took my holidays in July. August has been a total disaster weatherwise

Algonquin Park last Tuesday night hit a low of 2 degrees. Personally, I love that kind of weather. Warm enough during the day but nice and cool for sleeping or sitting around the campfire.
