Prizes will be awarded as described in this section:

Grand Prize (1st prize randomly drawn)
One (1) 17 foot specially designed Kevlar canoe from Souris River Canoes

Second Prize
One (1) handcrafted paddle from XY Company Hand Crafted Paddles (2nd prize randomly drawn)

Third Prize
One (1) handcrafted paddle from XY Company Hand Crafted Paddles (3rd prize randomly drawn)

Fourth Prize
One (1) handcrafted paddle from XY Company Hand Crafted Paddles (4th prize randomly drawn)

Fifth Prize
One (1) handcrafted paddle from XY Company Hand Crafted Paddles (5th prize randomly drawn)

The approximate retail value of the Prizes is $4,455.00 CAD

Thanks for posting this, Barbara.

Found out about this just before the Outdoor Adventure show back in February.
Got Woodland CaribouPP off this list this past summer, QueticoPP likely next.
WabakimiPP will be awesome!

Too bad the prizes are less than stellar and enticing with absolutely nothing against Souris River or XY paddles either. For something that involves this huge a span of time and so much planning, you'd think a more substantial prize(s) would be in order.
I was thinking about promoting another park - that was the whole idea behind this wasn't it?
A park like Opasquia Provincial Park. A fly-in only park that sees virtually no canoe paddlers every year since it's formation/ designation as a wilderness park.

I'll certainly accept any prize from this contest, but will never likely go up to OpasquiaPP simply because of the cost. A shame really.

But that's just me.
