Hi,
I'm looking for experienced paddlers/ canoe trips to join in Quebec and east/southeast Ontario. Most of my paddling has been on Yukon Rivers and I got up to level 2-2.5/ 3 whitewater there. One amazing trip on the South Nahanni in 2012. No canoe (no place to park it in Montreal), but other paddling and camping gear is no problem. Other: I'm a fit, dependable, middle-aged woman with a demerit free driving license - good for short and long hauls - and like being in wilderness. Hope to meet up with like-minded paddlers this summer. CL

La Verendrye. Riviere Chocuane. They rent some heavy beasts at Le Domaine. Surely someone can suggest other rental locations.

Or get a folding canoe like a Pakboat or Ally. Stores in an apt closet

You might also check out Ottawa-based RACCC (canoe-camping club) at: http://www.raccc.ca/

As a member-run club we organize trips all over the place, and do have a few members who live in places like Montreal, Kingston, and sometimes Toronto. Club baots are available to members at very good rates.

Madawaska Kanu Centre and the Paddlers Co-op on the Madawaska River aren't too far from Montreal.
Went to Paddlers Co-op last summer July long weekend, only small taste but we loved it.
I think the Paddlers Co-op was $80/day for a canoe, $10/night camping and the people are great.
Check out site.

Hi Clang, I'm looking for a partner for 2018 - not in Quebec but in the NWT, Clarke-Thelon. It's a fly in with pakboat. Email me @ uskapp@shaw.ca.
