Many thanks to the folks who have supported the Photo Contest initiative by entering their photos and by voting in the poll.

Congrats to Neil, and the others who submitted photos. Lots of good ones. I had Neil's pegged as his due to the EXIF revealing it being taken by a G10. ;)

Mine was taken from the Gondola at Kicking Horse Ski Resort in Golden, BC. It was eerily dark at the bottom, as the valley was closed in by low cloud, plus there was another layer higher once we got up through the first layer.

Awesome pictures guys! Love all three of them.

WW canoeing on a frozen river is pretty hardcore (but I do have some "ice-breaker" experience).

Again, great photos.

My picture was taken approaching the summit cone on Mount Marcy, New York State's highest point. Off the trail you could step into a tree hollow (spruce trap) up to your chest.
