Austrian Crepes
1 tbls dried egg
3 heaping spoons flour
3 heaping spoons milk powder
sugar
pinch baking powder
water
frying pan
Mix dry ingredients. When at camp add water and mix well. The tricky part is to get the amount of water just right. I suggest you practice at home. They should be much thinner than Canadian pancakes, but not as thin as milk. Oil pan, add batter so that it barely covers the bottom of the pan. Thin is better. Rotate the pan to thin it out even more. Flip once. They should start showing some dark brown before flipping, but they cook fast. Serve with jam, syrup, or if you add extra sugar, you don't need to add anything to them.
