Route Description
Access to Put-In Information:

Put-In at the Queenston Docks. Paid parking available.

Take out was at Queen's Royal Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We parked a 2nd car nearby and pulled up to the park to load the canoe.

Technical Guide:

The Queenston boat launch can be busy with fishermen and other boaters. Two parking areas are available. Likewise on the NOTL end, Queen's Royal Park can be busy and the beach landing is a small area which can be crowded by tourists.

Trip Journal/Log/Report/Diary:

This trip is a nice and easy 1.5 - 2 hour paddle. We kicked off around 6:00pm and reached NOTL by about 8:00pm. Heard 3 different bands playing on the Lewiston side of the river. The current is strong and helps to move you along at a good clip. NOTE: you want to stay on the Canadian side (presuming you're Canadian). The Coast Guard is known to appear out of nowhere, reminding boaters which side they're meant to be on.
