Hi,

I am planning on doing a trip down the Gander River in about a week or so from now in my 17ft tough stuff prospector canoe. I have been following the water levels and it's low right now. My question is this, does anyone know how low is still ok in a canoe down the Gander? I am willing to put in some work and spend longer days paddling if I have to, but at the same time if it's dangerous or not doable I would rather play it safe. So I'm told there are white buoys down on the river and just go between them and I should be fine on the low water, and maybe portage big and little chute. I have my feelers out but nobody is getting back to me very fast. I was hoping someone on here might have some experience with it.

Thanks
