I'm an expadition guide in BC. I'm trying to figure out how to canoe the fraser from source to mouth. Im having trouble finding paddle guide resources for the fraser. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I dont mind going off gauges but would love some first hand expeirience.

Paddle date is targeted at spring/ fall 2024, paddle length probably around 45 days.

Glen Stedham’s “The Vancouver Paddler” has detailed info for several sections from Hope to the river mouth. 156km total. Great book if you can find a copy.

At one time, I believe Jasper paddler Stuart Smith published a guide to Canadian Rockies whitewater that included the Fraser, but I can't locate it now: Amazon just lists his southern Rockies guidebook.

I would suggest contacting local kayak clubs (i.e. along the Fraser).
