Subregion Strait of Georgia, west part

Definition of the subregion.
Western boundary: A line starting east of Lund on the Malaspina Penisula , passing west of Mitlenatch Island and proceeding to Vancouver Island east of Campbell River.
Eastern boundary: The boundary with the Lower Straits region runs north and a bit west from Wallis Point (Nanoose Bay), passing west of Garden Bay, continuing down the Agamemnon Channel, passing the mouth of Sechelt Inlet, and reaching the mainland at Egmont Point.

Specific inclusions. Denman Island, Hornby Island, Sandy Island, Jedediah Island. Hotham Sound, Jervis Inlet, Malaspina Strait.
Specific exclusions. Campbell River, Sechelt Inlet, the Sunshine Coast (the lower Sunshine Coast to some).
