I canoed from Paudash Lake to Chandros Lake, June 2021, fathers day weekend, with my 76yr old father. This took us about 3 1/2 days. There are a ton of blow downs and major log jams. At each of the log jams that I encountered, access off the river was good and the vegetation was not thick so we were able to pull the canoe around fairly easy. We did take a battery operated reciprocating saw with us, which helped out a ton. This section was a tough slog, but the memory of how hard it was has faded, so I would probably do it again. I would probably do it a couple of weeks earlier in the year, say first week of June. A couple more inches of water would have made a world of difference.
I posted the trip to my you tube channel, check it out if you want too.
