We paddled to Deer Lake from Pikangikum last summer (via Old Shoes/ Apps L) and are looking at going McInness to Sandy Lake through Deer Lake via Favourable Lake/South/North trout. We have Scott and Cathy Warners info (which covers Deer L to McInness) and the Canoe Atlas of Little North which shows the route but we have not seen or at least found anyone who has done this route. Does anyone know of people who has done any parts of this? We are looking for any info, particularly campsites as the Deer Lake- sandy looks challenging because of steep hilly lakes...
