Wonderful report! The photos are superb. I really like the green weedy shot on the upper Petawawa. The meals, though, could make a man envious. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you martin2007! Yes, the green weedy shot is cool. I just bought a polarizer for my camera and I think it was able to take the glare off the water to see the grass.

I put a lot of effort into our meals! I always good to have something healthy and nutritious out there.

That moose with the ribs showing looks like it has a problem.
Possibly brain worm?
You should let staff see your photos.
July is almost done, she should be fat and happy.

We thought so too, kingfisher. I could pass it along to the Magnetawan Permit Office to see if they have any interest in the moose photos/information. What do you think they could do?

Put it out of it's misery and eliminate the carcass.

We did a loop similar to this over 6 days in 2012 we loved it and will never forget it. It was the last trip our old husky would take with us (which was really hard for us to accept) and the last trip we have taken without a child. Your pictures look great, it looks like you had a great trip, I hope it will prove to be as memorable for you as it is for us.
