Amazing 3 weeks spent in the Temagami wilderness summer 2015! Spent some time reliving the trip by compiling some descriptive words and pretty pictures :) This section covers our time spent paddling the North Lady Evelyn River to Shangri-La, then down the South Lady Evelyn River to the lovely "two miler" portage to Diamond Lake and on through Bob and Mud to Chee Skon Lake and home through Obabika. So many extremely beautiful places!

Words and pictures @ http://www.watermarkwords.org/2016/04/temagami-part-2/

Enjoy!

Thanks for that, Heather. Just what i needed on this cold winter afternoon - lots of great pix and accompanying text to remind me of how special Temagami is.

Thanks for reading everyone!

Jeff - go find those falls! Have you been to the Lady Evelyn? It's beautiful.

Odyssey - It certainly was. They are wonderful people which makes the work they do all that much better!

True_north - isn't it? I always write up summer trips in the winter - working on one from last summer as we speak! Ps: your blog is great too :)

It sounds like an amazing trip. This is definitely one of my favorites areas in Temagami. If you're is interested I've made a hand drawn map of some common Temagami canoe routes, a great souvenir for the trip.
