I'm impressed by your initiative and courage, Cobi. You embarked on an adventure that few young men__and far fewer young women__ever even consider : solo canoe tripping. What a wonderful start! Thanks for sharing, and good luck with future adventures.

Thank you so much for your comment, martin2007. I took a few years until I felt ready. I tried (seriously thought about) doing a solo trip last year, but just didn't feel ready. I'm already planning the next one!
