I'm doing more of a picture report than a full trip log for this trip. You can see them at : http://www.myatventure.ca/5-day-solo-st ... 017-day-1/

I should have the next day up this evening or tomorrow morning! Thanks for looking! :-)

Very good. I'm waiting with 'baited breath', as some fishermen say, for your Louisa paddling and fishing report!!

Fantastic! I recall doing that loop a few years ago with my son when he was 8 years old. It is a trip we will both remember always. He liked Louisa so much, we went back the following year.

Andrew, keep 'em coming! Got to Day 3 - lots of nice shots, many of which make excellent use of your dog Zeus and your canoe! Also makes me that much more impatient for the start date for our first trip of the season.

Thanks for this. It's been years since we were last in the park and you're bringing back happy memories. Really must plan for a return before too long. Great trip report and photos!

I just finished the final two days of my trip. I lumped them both into one part because my last day was fairly short, and I didn't take many photos.

Thanks again everyone for taking the time to read it! :-)

I enjoyed your day-by-day reports, and am happy that the fish started biting. Zeus is a beautiful dog. Thanks for sharing.

What size of Kelly Kettle are you using? Do you using it to cook anything or just boil water?

Thanks everyone for all of the comments! :-) I really appreciate it!

I am using the Trekker model (their smallest). It holds a perfect amount of water for a cup of coffee/tea or for a freeze dried meal. I do have the hobo stove attachment but don't particularly like using it on the Trekker because the base is simply too small. I also brought my MSR Dragonfly stove, but only used it a couple of times.
