I finally got around to editing a video from a canoe trip my son and I took back in the summer of 2018. The 4M Circle Route - Dividing Lake Loop is a 65 km. canoe trip through scenic lakes, rivers and wetlands NW of Sudbury, Ontario. This is a fairly straight forward canoe trip loop with well maintained portage trails that can be comfortably traversed in 3 or 4 days. The Dividing Lake Loop is part of the larger 4M Circle Route that goes through Gogama, Ontario. Please check out the video at the link below:

Cheers, and happy paddling!

Nice trip report video. We were in only a few weeks after you and appreciated the portage signs you put up, especially the one out of Schist Lake. I don't know how you guys are able to get such good drone shots following the canoe down the stream. Our trip took four nights, but we were wind bound/storm bound the for two nights on the exact campsite where you two stayed your first night. Water levels were down compared to your passage though, and getting the boat through the boney area where you lined was more of a challenge.

Thank you, Wayne, for the work that you, your son, and his partner are doing in documenting routes, re-opening portages, and generally promoting backcountry canoeing.

Another great video Wayne! Looks like a very nice route, I might check this one out this spring or fall. Thanks for sharing.
