My brother and I did a quick trip down the York River from just outside Bancroft to Combermere.

I didn't bring a camera on the trip but did take some video on the phone showing some highlights.

We did the trip in 2 days with plenty of time for swimming along the way. Our favourite spots were Farm Chute and a sandbar after the swifts heading into Conroy Marsh.

We had sunny and warm to hot weather for the trip. We camped at a site in Deep Bay which looks like it has ATV access as well as ice fishing access.

Cool trip report, Thanks for posting it. I know the area well so it was nice to see from your view, camp spot can be a busy spot looks like you hit it on a quiet day.

Thanks! We did this the Wednesday after the Canada Day long weekend so there was evidence of use with some beer cans around but not terrible. I guess everyone went home afterwards. We didn't see anyone from the put in until the cottages around the Boulter Road bridge and then a couple boats in the Conroy Marsh. Negeek Lake had lots of activity.
