Last summer we spent 2 nights, canoe camping in Algonquin Park. We found a perfect site on a big island. While there were another 3 sites nearby, you could hear but not see the other campers.
On the second day, we went on an exploratory trip on North Tea Lake. We saw a nice waterfall and we walked the portage to see another lake, Manitou Lake. Time well spent.
On the last day, while going back, we realized that everybody on the lake was heading to the portage. It was crowded but we got to avoid the worst of it.
While tying the canoe to the roof it started to rain, quite hard. We had a perfect trip!
