Nice write up. The Saugeen is a fun over-nighter for the times we can't get away up North. I've camped at Macbeth a few times, it's ... interesting. Everything from families to people showing up in the dark with the inflatable dingy they've been floating in for 12 hours.

Thanks! Yeah, it's the only place I saw between Walkerton and Paisley, so I guess all kinds of river travellers would rock up there. It looked pretty open with not a lot of privacy. I imagine it gets its fair share of noisy party campers. Another reason I'm glad I opted for a BNB.
