Hello I am going to canoe the red deer river on Aug first and was wondering if anyone could tell me if the water level is up and if it is flowing at a good rate right now. We are going from content bridge and are not sure how far we can make it in two days any input would be a great help.

Here's a trip report I just completed. Be prepared for paddling and low spots as the river is substantially lower than when we were there. We still had to paddle a lot due to wind.

Scott,
Content to Trenvile Park approx. 30 km, Trenvile Park to Tolman Bridge approx. 35km. Both legs are easy paddling, unless of course you have a head wind. I’m heading out tomorrow to do a float from Tolman to Morrin Bridge, so I’ll post the water conditions.

Lots of water. It has dropped as indicated from environment Alberta, but only to the point where the river boulders are clearly visible, some gravel bars are now exposed but easily navigated. Overall clarity - still a little murky but seems to be clearing, a few more days without rain should help.
