I had the opportunity of paddling the Bow from Ghost Dam to Cochrane last Saturday. There was no ice at all on the river and it was almost too hot. The season is now open!!

Takign the C-train over the river this morning (Sunday April 05), there was an ice bridge downstream of the c-train bridge although it was clear when I wetn back at 5:30PM...

It may be a bit early to declare the season open just yet.
