Has anyone put in up stream from Delbonita and taken out downstream from writing on stone PP.? I'd like to spend a good week or two on this river not always paddling. Hope to camp in some beautiful spot s and watch the world go by for a time.

Done Milk River to Writing-on-Stone, but not above or below. Have you checked out my other posts and info in the Routes section and my website?

Had wonderful trip from Whiskey gap to Milk River town site. But the water was turned of for repairs to aquaduct up stream. Water droped 3 feet in two days. It was really wonderful to paddle a prairie river with water moving at a good clip. We may head out again next year to complete what we missed. Very quiet and secluded stretch .
