Osprey Wings has always seemed to be busy whenever I've been in that area. It's a very important service for paddlers and for local people so, yes, hopefully, someone decides it's a worthwhile investment.

While I’ve never flown with Osprey Wings, I have started many a canoe trip in a float plane. Thanks for posting this story.

With all the camps, private cabins, exploration companies and canoeists in the area depending on air access, it's hard to think that no other operator would step in. Whether they would have as large or diverse a fleet as Osprey Wings, or an operating base at Points North, are other questions.
